Rising Costs in a Changing World: What It Means for Our Industry

Global events don’t just make headlines—they have a way of reaching into everyday business operations too. Recently, we’ve started to feel the effects within our own industry, particularly when it comes to materials and delivery costs.

MDPE pipe, a key material in many of our projects, is produced using oil. When oil prices rise, the cost of manufacturing these products increases as well. At the moment, global uncertainty has pushed oil prices higher due to concerns about supply and availability, and this is now filtering through the entire supply chain.

Our suppliers have advised us that significant price increases are coming through, and unfortunately, this is something we can’t absorb entirely. As a result, these rising costs will need to be reflected in our pricing to clients. In addition, delivery costs have also increased due to higher fuel prices, adding further pressure across the board.

We understand that this isn’t welcome news. The reality is that businesses across our sector—and beyond—are facing the same challenges.

That said, our commitment remains unchanged. As our regular clients know, we continue to focus on delivering reliable, high-quality work and getting the job done right, no matter the circumstances.

We appreciate your understanding and ongoing support as we navigate these changes together.
